What To Say
How can we possibly say a word when eyes do not meet
Each others skin soft to touch yet to make senses switch
Comfort in arms and twisted logic
Withering in soft sheets further with the heartache and pain
How is it we can read words yet we cannot read faces
Confusion from the smiles and the tears that do not dry
Messing with the hearts of those not near
Weathering storms of unfathomable power
Trickle of water seems to run down the face of those insecure
Heated converse and cooler breeze
Ended with wretched crows upon eyes
Red rings surround those that were once windows to the soul
Sending those roses sweeten the blow
Sending the chocolates would rot the teeth
Each second that struck
The hand moved closer
Each minute that passed
The second moved faster
Until both will hold close to skin
Flesh upon cold fingers still
Sweet rouge of colour wet with wine
It will curse the rocks to wither
The water to ripple
The fruit that once bear the seeds will itself bloom
Trembling fear or be it butterflies
Beat after beat the songs repeat
Faster pace and heated waters
With a spoon it ends and the darkness silence
Whispers surround the depths
Entanglement is end and the end shall surprise
To return to the beginning and start again
Let lips reword and repeat
'Til light dawn upon the sands and shore
